ROLE PURPOSE

The Data Management Specialist is responsible for the implementation of data management practices, ensuring high data quality, governance, and compliance across the organization. This role will focus on establishing robust data management frameworks for the organizations Enterprise Data Foundation and drive the implementation informed by use cases. The role will collaborate closely with data governance, engineering, and business teams to enable data as a trusted asset.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

-        Data Quality Management: Manage data quality frameworks and processes to ensure that data is accurate, complete, and reliable. Develop data quality dashboards and KPIs to track the health of critical data assets.

-        Metadata and Lineage Management: Implement systems and processes to capture and maintain comprehensive metadata and data lineage for key data assets.

-        Master & Reference Data Management (MDM/RDM): Support MDM/RDM strategy implementation, ensuring that master data across key business domains (e.g., customers, policies, claims) is consistent and accurate across all systems.

-        Collaboration with Data Teams: Collaborate with enterprise data architecture, data delivery, and business teams to ensure that data management practices are embedded throughout the data lifecycle—from data source to data consumption.

FUNCTIONAL / TECHNICAL SKILLS

-        Strong Insurance domain knowledge.

-        Strong delivery experience to develop and execute roadmaps, and implementation plans.

-        Hands-On expertise in data quality, metadata, lineage, MDM/RDM strategies and regulatory compliance.

-        Familiarity with data management platforms (e.g., Purview, Collibra, Informatica) and tools

-        Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure) and data governance tools.

-        Ability to work with cross-functional teams to enforce and implement data management solutions.
